Recap: Colfax Falcons vs. Bear River Bruins
The Colfax Falcons stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 60-37 margin over Bear River. The victory was nothing new for Colfax as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Laurlyn Massick was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Madalyn Sigrist was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Colfax's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.7 points. As for Bear River, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.
Colfax will be playing at home against Sutter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sutter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while Colfax is ranked 36th). As for Bear River, they will head out on the road to face off against Wheatland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
