Volleyball Recap: Hortonville Comes Up Short

Hortonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the West De Pere Phantoms. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phantoms this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.

Brooke Bacus paced Hortonville's offense, picking up eight kills. Bacus got some help from Ashlie Sippola and her 13 assists.

Hortonville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West De Pere, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Hortonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Kingsford on the 29th. As for West De Pere, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against New Berlin West on the 29th.
