Soccer Recap: Locust Grove Takes a Loss

Locust Grove managed to keep up with Mary Persons until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-1. Locust Grove's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Daniel Barreto, who's now up to five this season.

Locust Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Mary Persons, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Locust Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mary Persons, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Heritage at 6:00 p.m.
