Basketball Recap: West Perry's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

West Perry came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Shippensburg Greyhounds out 44-41. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in January, they had to take a 62-52 defeat.

West Perry's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Shippensburg, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

West Perry has already played their next contest (against Susquenita), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shippensburg will host Gettysburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
