Carrollton won the last time they faced Slater and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Trojans have won 15 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Carrollton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Slater, they moved to 4-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Carrollton will take on Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Minutemen have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Slater, they will square off against Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
