Basketball Recap: Irvine Vaqueros vs. Foothill Knights
After flying high against Bell Gardens last Thursday, Irvine came back down to earth. The Vaqueros received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 50-35 to the Foothill Knights. The matchup marked the Vaqueros' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Foothill was led to victory by Maleah Paige and Elize McAveney. Paige dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds, while McAveney posted 17 points and four steals.
