Basketball Recap: East Juniata Comes Up Short

East Juniata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Line Mountain Eagles, falling 46-21. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 48-30 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Line Mountain, they moved to 7-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the East Juniata Tigers challenge the Greenwood Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Line Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-23 victory against Millersburg on the 30th.
