Soccer Game Preview: Bernalillo vs. Hope Christian + How To Watch

Bernalillo hasn't had much luck against Hope Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Spartans will head out to take on the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Hope Christian heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Bernalillo took over last week. The Spartans had just enough and edged out Del Norte 2-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Bernalillo in their matchups with Del Norte: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Hope Christian made sure to put some goals up on the board against Valley on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 4-0 shutout. Hope Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Kaden McMurry and Jaxon Bibeau scored all four of Hope Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Bernalillo's record now sits at 10-6. As for Hope Christian, their record is now 9-7-1.

Bernalillo might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Hope Christian when the teams last played back in September. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
