Green Mountain lost to Thomas Jefferson back in August of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Rams blew past the Spartans 19-4. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Jenna Neuenschwander made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Neuenschwander was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Ashlyn Wise was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Madison Nash, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Green Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .818. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win made it two in a row for Green Mountain and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Thomas Jefferson, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coincidentally, Green Mountain and Thomas Jefferson will both be playing Jefferson Academy the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Jaguars at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
