Pearland had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Houston Trojans. The game marked the Oilers' most dominant win of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pearland was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pearland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilyana Ulloa, who had five digs and two aces.

Ulloa wasn't the only good server: Pearland was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Pearland now has a winning record of 8-7. As for South Houston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
