Woodbine waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ar-We-Va Rockets a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Woodbine pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Ar-We-Va, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbine will welcome Ridge View on Tuesday. As for Ar-We-Va, they will host East Sac County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
