Basketball Recap: Lompoc Victorious

Lompoc won the last time they faced Templeton, and Tara Terrones did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lompoc Braves walked away with a 43-30 victory over the Templeton Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Terrones, who posted 17 points and six boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Lompoc's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Templeton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lompoc will head out to take on San Luis Obispo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. San Luis Obispo will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lompoc surely won't give up without a fight. As for Templeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Ynez has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
