Soccer Recap: Janesville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Iowa Falls-Alden on Saturday, Janesville came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to North Fayette Valley on Monday. Janesville were not able to make up for their defeat to North Fayette Valley from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Janesville's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for North Fayette Valley, they pushed their record up to 16-1-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Janesville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Columbus on the 15th. As for North Fayette Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Waverly-Shell Rock on the 12th.
