Softball Recap: Greene County Sets Scoring Season-High Against South Hamilton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greene County). They blew past the South Hamilton Hawks 20-7 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won seven in a row.

Greene County pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for South Hamilton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-21.

Greene County has already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Southeast Valley on the 1st. As for South Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Grand View Christian on the 2nd.
