Football Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Moon Valley extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They were outmatched by the Tempe Buffaloes and fell 40-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 22-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

As for Tempe, they now have a winning record of 4-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 38 points or more this season.

Saul Mendez had an outrageously good game as he threw for 293 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in two rushing scores. His passing game has become a key predictor of Tempe's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. 128 of Mendez's passing yards were hauled in by Mark Jackson.
