Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Marleigh Smith stepped things up a notch to give Spalding the 'W'. Smith scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Smith and Spalding will be playing at home against Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars haven't beaten the Wildcats recently, having gone 0-3 since August of 2024.
