Volleyball Recap: Gulfport Takes a Loss

Gulfport saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Purvis Tornadoes by a score of 2-1.

Lucy McHugh paced Gulfport's offense, picking up six kills. McHugh got some help from Lily Trosclair and her ten assists.

Gulfport's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Purvis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Gulfport has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against West Harrison on the 26th. As for Purvis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Vancleave on the 26th.
