Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Purvis advances its record to 12-3 on the season. The Tornadoes host Vancleave (Vancleave, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next, the Admirals play the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a Class 7A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Gulfport will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
