Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Purvis improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tornadoes host St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS) to meet the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. St. Patrick won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS)

Next, the Rebels meet the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. George County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
