Softball Recap: Jay Comes Up Short

Jay blew Sequoyah out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Sequoyah got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sequoyah, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6.

Jay wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-5 defeat against Sperry on the 22nd. As for Sequoyah, they will head out to face off against Heavener at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
