Soccer Recap: San Fernando Takes a Loss

San Fernando lost against Kennedy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The San Fernando Tigers came up short against the Kennedy Cougars, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 646th, while the Cougars are ranked 303rd).

San Fernando's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Kennedy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Fernando will venture away from home to face off against Sylmar at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennedy, they will face off against Van Nuys at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
