Softball Recap: Nebraska City Triumphs

Nebraska City saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Paul Wildcats 8-7. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Nebraska City and bumps their season record up to 3-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Nebraska City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 defeat against Waverly on the 25th. As for St. Paul, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-5 loss against Grand Island Central Catholic on the 25th.
