2017 Georgia Preseason Baseball Fab 5, presented by the Army National Guard

1. Walton (Marietta)
Head coach: Shane Amos
2016 record: 32-4

The defending Class AAAAAA champions appear more than capable of defending their title in 2017. The Raiders return outfielder Jason Rooks, an All-State selection who could go early in the Major League Baseball Draft in June. He's joined in the outfield by All-State pick Michael Guldberg, who has committed to Georgia Tech. The pitching should be solid with Forrest Wilson and Chris Rolick returning on the mound.

Five starters return from that team, including senior infielder David Dunn (.400) and senior infielder Jake Lundkovsky (.362). The pitching staff returns Auburn commit Peyton Glavine (6-0 record), son of Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine.
