Basketball Recap: Plum Takes a Loss

Plum lost against Indiana back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Plum Mustangs fell just short of the Indiana Little Indians by a score of 41-39. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Little Indians are ranked 47th).

Plum dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Indiana, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.

Coming up, Plum will head out to take on Greensburg Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Greensburg Salem will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Plum surely won't give up without a fight. Indiana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
