Basketball Recap: Big Valley Comes Up Short

Big Valley lost against Happy Camp back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Big Valley Cardinals fell 46-34 to the Happy Camp Indians. The Cardinals' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Happy Camp's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ededa Rose, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Rose also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Happy Camp is 3-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Snapp, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Big Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Happy Camp, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Big Valley will take on Elk Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Happy Camp does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
