Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Campus). Their defense stepped up to hand the Johnson Warriors an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Brandi Rios as she scored three goals for her team.

West Campus pushed their record up to 9-1-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Johnson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

West Campus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Florin on the 23rd. Johnson has also already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Burbank on the 23rd.
