Softball Recap: West Hancock Comes Up Short

West Hancock came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Union Warriors, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 two weeks ago.

West Hancock's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for North Union, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

West Hancock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-4 defeat against Lake Mills on the 24th. As for North Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 24th.
