Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Classical Academy lost against Village Christian back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights took a 51-36 bruising from the Crusaders. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Trinity Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Noa Pe?a, who went 10-for-18 to rack up 31 points and eight boards. The matchup was Pe?a's third in a row with at least 25 points.

Sandrina Panaligan was the offensive standout of the contest as she shot 54% from the field en route to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Keani Asamura-Hall was another key player, putting up 11 points and six boards.

Trinity Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Village Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Trinity Classical Academy has already played their next matchup, a 56-39 win against Santa Monica on the 11th. As for Village Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-39 victory against Granada Hills Charter on the 11th.
