Softball Recap: Oak Hill Academy Takes a Loss

Oak Hill Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pillow Academy Mustangs.

Kaelyn Pennington was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Sally Rhea Chaney, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Oak Hill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Pillow Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Oak Hill Academy will host Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Pillow Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
