De Soto entered their tilt with Seneca on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Indians two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Schultz, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.

De Soto's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Seneca, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
