Basketball Recap: Calvary Chapel Takes a Loss

Calvary Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Valencia Tigers, falling 66-16. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 823rd, while the Tigers are ranked 217th).

Calvary Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Valencia, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel has already played their next contest (against Segerstrom), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valencia has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Buena Park.
