Basketball Recap: Canyon Crest Academy's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The Canyon Crest Academy Ravens made easy work of the Valhalla Norsemen on Friday and carried off a 60-35 victory. The Ravens pushed the score to 50-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Norsemen cut but never quite recovered from.

Canyon Crest Academy found their leader in sophomore DISHA RAMACHANDRON, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 12 points along with five assists and three steals. ELA GULEC was another key player, putting up eight points.

Canyon Crest Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Canyon Crest Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount Miguel at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Valhalla, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-18 defeat against Valley Center on the 22nd.
