Albany waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Worth County Tigers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The result came thanks to Makena Moffat's shutout, as she gave up just three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Albany secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Kaitlyn Bunker, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Bunker has posted since back in October of 2024.

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Worth County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Albany will challenge Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Worth County, they will head out to face off against Pattonsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
