Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Has No Trouble Against King

Roosevelt kept a clean sheet against King on Thursday. They blew past the King Wolves 3-0. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Ireland Churchill was the driving force of Roosevelt's attack as she scored all three of Roosevelt's goals, bringing her season total up to 18 goals.

Roosevelt's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-2.

Roosevelt and King's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Roosevelt and Los Alamitos (who has only given up zero goals per game) will meet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. Similarly, King will challenge Arlington at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 0.43 goals per game.
