Ollie Songster was dynamite on Friday, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with two or fewer walks. On the season, she has an ERA of 4.31 over 13 innings pitched.

Songster and Elkhorn South are on the road again on Friday to play Grand Island at 11:00 a.m. The Storm are 7-1 against the Islanders going back to August of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
