Middle Creek won the last time they faced Cary, and Cameron Gerber did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs blew past the Imps 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Gerber, who had 14 digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Middle Creek took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-10.

Middle Creek is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Cary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
