Soccer Recap: Cairo Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Cairo kept a clean sheet against Monroe on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Monroe Golden Tornadoes as they made off with a 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Alex Perez-Perez as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory was the third in a row for Cairo, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three games. As for Monroe, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Cairo will head out to take on Dougherty at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe, they will be playing at home against Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe is facing Westover at the right time seeing as Westover is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
