Recap: Panorama Pythons vs. Canoga Park Hunters

The Panorama Pythons can finally bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 52-44 win over Canoga Park. For Panorama, this counts as revenge for the 60-54 loss Canoga Park walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Panorama to victory, but perhaps none more so than YESSENIA QUEZADA, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which QUEZADA has scored at least a third of Panorama's points. The team also got some help courtesy of VALERY QUEZADA, who scored 20 points along with two steals.

Panorama's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for Canoga Park, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panorama won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northridge Academy at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th. Northridge Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Canoga Park, they will be playing at home against Sylmar at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
