Basketball Recap: Jefferson City Takes a Loss

Jefferson City suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Marquette Mustangs 64-33. The Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marquette, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson City will head out to face off against Warrensburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marquette, they will venture away from home to square off against Westminster Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
