Baseball Recap: Southwest DeKalb Comes Up Short

Southwest DeKalb lost against Druid Hills back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest DeKalb saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Scott, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Southwest DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Druid Hills, their record now sits at 18-9.

While Southwest DeKalb had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
