Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove Classical Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Penasco on Tuesday, Oak Grove Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Owls fell 3-1 to the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue on Thursday.

While Oak Grove Classical Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 19-25, 25-22.

Oak Grove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Roy/Mosquero, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Grove Classical Academy will host Santa Fe Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roy/Mosquero, they will take on Fort Sumner/House at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
