Soccer Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss

Westmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Piedmont Hills Pirates. Westmont were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Piedmont Hills earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Westmont's record is now 4-9. As for Piedmont Hills, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Looking ahead, Westmont will challenge Branham at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Piedmont Hills, they will host Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leigh's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
