Baseball Game Preview: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Duluth Wildcats

Meadowcreek is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Duluth a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Meadowcreek Mustangs will be playing at home against the Duluth Wildcats at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meadowcreek lost 13-3 to North Gwinnett on Monday.

Meadowcreek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Piner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Eduardo Alaniz also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Duluth faced off against Parkview on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-1.

Duluth's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Meadowcreek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Meadowcreek suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Duluth in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
