Baseball Recap: South Cobb Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hiram

South Cobb had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Hiram Hornets on Friday, falling 20-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Hiram pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Cobb will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Lithia Springs at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hiram, they will host East Paulding at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
