Baseball Recap: Miller Grove Comes Up Short

Miller Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-6 to the South Atlanta Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Wednesday.

Miller Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for South Atlanta, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Miller Grove is set to challenge their familiar foe Redan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Atlanta will take on rival Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
