The Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Windsor Academy Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rock Springs Christian Academy has nine straight victories, Windsor Academy has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Thursday, Rock Springs Christian Academy made easy work of Central Fellowship Christian Academy and carried off a 13-7 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.
Brandt Washington made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adam McGinnis, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Windsor Academy couldn't beat Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Knights took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.
Rock Springs Christian Academy pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Windsor Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
