The Nueva School waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They never let the KIPP Esperanza Eagles onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

The Nueva School's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 64 goals over those eight contests. As for KIPP Esperanza, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Nueva School will host Aragon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for KIPP Esperanza, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against More at 6:15 p.m.
