Baseball Recap: St. Elizabeth Comes Up Short

St. Elizabeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 12-8 to the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-9 on Tuesday.

St. Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Hodgson Vo-Tech, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-9.

Coming up, St. Elizabeth will be playing in front of their home fans against Polytech at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hodgson Vo-Tech will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' contest: after the Vikings face off against McKean, they'll take on Hodgson Vo-Tech again at 3:30 p.m.
