Soccer Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact DeKalb can now relate to. They came up short against the South Elgin Storm on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to DeKalb of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

DeKalb is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11-2. As for South Elgin, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3-1.

DeKalb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Elgin, they will square off against Larkin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
