Softball Game Preview: Brantley County Herons vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Brantley County will face off against Thomasville. The Herons will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brantley County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Brantley County is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since October 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Thomasville by a score of 3-1.

For Thomasville's part, Khiler Oehlhof spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Thomasville's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cece Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Brantley County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Thomasville, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.
